Eyelid surgery work
The eyelid-lift and brow-lift pages describe the practice's procedures generally ("our providers"); the practice has two surgeons, Antonio Gayoso, MD and Frank Beninger, MD, and the pages are not attributed to Dr. Gayoso individually.
- Blepharoplasty. Targets excess skin, eye bags, crow's feet, fat deposits, hollow eyes and crepey skin in the upper and/or lower eyelids; can also treat ptosis (drooping eyelids) (source).
- Performed outpatient; the page describes two pre-op visits (with a nurse, then the surgeon) two to four weeks before surgery (same page).
- Often combined with a brow lift for brow heaviness, Botox for crow's feet, or dermal fillers for hollow under-eye areas (same page).
Other procedures
The practice also offers breast surgery, body contouring (tummy tuck, liposuction, Brazilian buttock lift), facelift, otoplasty, chin augmentation, MedSpa laser and skin care services (gayosoplasticsurgery.com).
Insurance and cost
No insurance, Medicare or price statement for eyelid surgery is published on the pages checked.
Recovery
- Swelling. Vision may be blurry from swelling for a while; bruising, tired eyes and mild to moderate pain are also common temporarily (source).
- Final result. Full results are seen six months after the blepharoplasty procedure (same page).
