Eyelid surgery work
- Blepharoplasty. Upper eyelid surgery removes excess fat and skin via an incision in the natural lid crease; lower eyelid surgery removes fatty tissue and tightens skin via an incision below the lash line, with filler injected in select cases for volume (source). Surgery can take up to 2 hours; general anesthesia or IV sedation used.
- Asian double eyelid surgery. Creates a supratarsal crease and increases vertical eye height, using incisional (traditional) or non-incisional (suture) technique; can be combined with medial or lateral epicanthoplasty to widen the eye (source).
- Brow lift. Addresses a drooping brow via traditional (behind-hairline) or trichophytic (along-hairline) incisions (source).
- No separate canthoplasty page (epicanthoplasty is described within the Asian eyelid page) or revision eyelid surgery page found.
