- Board certifications as the bio page lists them: "Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon," "Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon," "Board-Certified Otolaryngolist (ENT) Head and Neck Surgeon" and "Board-Certified Anti-Aging Medicine Specialist."
- The bio page states over 20 years of medical experience.
- She is the only surgeon named on the practice site.
Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Removes excess skin and fat. Dr. Robey places the incision in the natural crease of the upper eyelid.
- Lower blepharoplasty. The page lists a transcutaneous approach, with an incision just below the lower lash line for patients with significant skin excess, and a transconjunctival approach, with an incision inside the lower eyelid when only fat needs removal or repositioning.
- Canthopexy and canthoplasty. Canthopexy tightens the outer corner of the eye for mild to moderate lower lid laxity; canthoplasty repositions the outer corner for significant laxity.
- Eyelid fat transfer. Micro-aliquots of fat are added to the lower lids for under-eye hollows. Fat can also go to the upper lid after earlier over-resection or natural hollowness.
- Laser eyelid resurfacing. A CO2 laser tightens upper and lower eyelid skin in the office without excision.
- Eyelid surgery is an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. Upper or lower eyelid surgery alone takes one to two hours; both together take two to three hours.
- Consultation includes examination of eyelid structure, eye function and tear production.
- Blepharoplasty is often combined with brow lift, FaceTite and AccuTite, or Morpheus8.

Other procedures
Brow lift. The brow lift page describes three approaches: endoscopic (small incisions in the hairline with a camera, the method listed as preferred for most patients), pretrichial (incision at the hairline for high foreheads or significant brow ptosis) and temporal or lateral (incisions in the temporal hairline to lift the outer third of the brow). The surgery takes one to two hours. The practice also offers facelift and neck lift, rhinoplasty, lip lift, buccal fat removal, otoplasty, facial fat transfer, breast and body surgery, injectables, lasers and wellness services (source).
Insurance and cost
- When excess upper eyelid skin obstructs peripheral vision, upper blepharoplasty "may be considered reconstructive and partially covered by medical insurance" (blepharoplasty page).
- For functional cases, Dr. Robey may recommend visual field testing to document vision impairment for insurance.
- The site publishes no prices. The financial options page lists check, money order, cash, credit cards, Cherry, CareCredit and Patient fi.
Recovery
- First two days: cold compresses, head elevated, prescribed eye drops or ointments.
- First week: mild discomfort, bruising and swelling; non-dissolving stitches removed; light activity resumes.
- Two weeks: return to work and most daily activities; cardiovascular exercise may resume.
- Final result: significant improvement within two to three weeks; final results at about three to six months.
- Brow lift: stitches out five to seven days after surgery, return to work within 10 to 14 days, strenuous exercise at three to four weeks (brow lift page).
