Eyelid surgery work
- Eyelid surgery. The face services page states blepharoplasty can be done on the upper lids, the lower lids or both. It treats loose upper lid skin that can impair vision, puffy fat deposits, bags under the eyes, drooping lower lids that show white below the iris, and lower lid wrinkles (face).
- Upper blepharoplasty. A practice blog post describes removing redundant upper lid skin, and in some cases part of the underlying muscle and fat, to restore an unobstructed line of sight. Lower blepharoplasty treats puffiness, bags and hollowing beneath the eyes (part one).
- Incisions are placed in natural skin creases. Patients with dry eye, thyroid eye disease or clotting disorders need additional evaluation (part two).
- The eyelid content credits the practice's board-certified plastic surgeons and names no single surgeon. The before-and-after gallery opens only after a consent prompt and is not divided by procedure on the page.
Other procedures
The face services page describes three brow lift techniques (face). The endoscopic method uses three small incisions of about 1-2 cm, takes about two hours and is same-day. The temporal brow lift raises the outer brow through a 2-3 cm incision behind the hairline. The coronal brow lift uses an ear-to-ear incision behind or at the hairline. The page also covers facelift and ear surgery, including earlobe reduction and repair. The practice offers breast, body, injection, laser and skin services (source).
Insurance and cost
If a doctor has diagnosed a visual field impairment, upper blepharoplasty "may be covered by insurance," per the practice blog (part one). The home page states the surgeons consider costs and insurance coverage when making recommendations. The site publishes no eyelid surgery prices.
