Eyelid surgery work
The practice's eyelid page describes the procedure as performed by "the surgeons of Tulsa Surgical Arts" (blepharoplasty).
- Scope. Blepharoplasty removes extra skin and bulging fat. Upper lids: hooded skin. Lower lids: puffy bags and loose skin. The page states it does not remove crow's feet or lift the brow.
- Anesthesia. Numbing medicine, often with light sleep medicine; some patients are fully asleep.
- Incisions. Upper lids: in the natural crease. Lower lids: just under the lash line or inside the lid.
- Technique. Extra skin is trimmed; bulging fat is removed or moved to smooth the area; incisions are closed with fine stitches.
- Time. About one to two hours, home the same day.
- The page links a plain-language guide and PDF, and lists risks including dry eyes, trouble closing the lids and a pulled-down lower lid.
Brow lift. Small incisions hidden in the hair above the forehead; an endoscope may be used; the brow is held with small anchors or stitches. Surgery takes about one to two hours (source).
Gallery. The practice gallery's eyelid and brow cases are labeled by Angelo Cuzalina, MD, DDS and Carisa Champion, DO. Cases labeled by Dr. Nelson are rhinoplasty, breast and tummy tuck (source).
Other procedures
The practice lists rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, facial fat grafting, hairline lowering, breast augmentation, lift and revision, tummy tuck, liposculpture and BBL, plus the Bella Roma Med Spa and TSA Wellness (tulsasurgicalarts.com).
