Eyelid surgery work

  • The page describes upper blepharoplasty for drooping upper lids and lower blepharoplasty for puffy bags, removing or repositioning excess fat, skin and muscle.
  • Incisions run in the upper lid creases and just below the lower lashes, and may extend into the outer corners. For a cheek lift, the lower lid incision is modified in an extended lower blepharoplasty.
  • Transconjunctival blepharoplasty is described for younger patients with lower lid fat but no excess skin, with the incision inside the lower eyelid.
  • Blepharoplasty can add an upper eyelid crease to Asian eyes.
  • Surgery takes 1 to 3 hours depending on the number of eyelids treated.
  • Brow lift. Dr. Boswell offers endoscopic brow lift, the most common technique at the practice, through small incisions behind the hairline. A traditional brow lift uses an incision behind the hairline, or just below it for a high forehead (brow lift).
  • The bio lists eyelid reconstruction among his work.
  • The practice gallery has no eyelid or brow lift category.

Other procedures

The site lists facelift, deep plane and short-scar facelift, liquid facelift, neck and ear surgery, skin resurfacing, breast surgery, body contouring after massive weight loss, and injectables.

Insurance and cost

The eyelid, brow lift, FAQ and financing pages carry no statement on insurance or Medicare coverage and publish no prices.
