  • Board certification: the site states he "is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon" with fellowship credentials from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (FAACS) and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (FABCS), and certification from the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM) (Cottonwood Heights page).

Eyelid surgery work

  • Blepharoplasty. The page describes removing excess skin, muscle and fat from the upper and/or lower eyelids, on its own or with a facelift or brow lift. It is done as an outpatient procedure at the practice's surgery center, usually under local anesthesia with general or intravenous sedatives (eyelid surgery).
  • Incisions follow the upper lid creases and run just below the lashes on the lower lids, and may extend into the crow's feet. Excess fat is removed, sagging skin and muscle are trimmed, and incisions are closed with very fine sutures.
  • Transconjunctival blepharoplasty. For a fat pocket under the lower lid with no skin removal, the incision is made inside the lower eyelid, usually in younger patients with thicker, more elastic skin.
  • Drooping eyelids. A concern page lists blepharoplasty, brow lift, CO2 laser resurfacing, Morpheus8 and Plasma Pen as treatments (drooping eyelids).
  • Brow lift. Performed with a traditional or endoscopic approach under general anesthesia or IV sedation. Most patients receive a coronal incision behind the hairline; a hairline or mid-scalp incision is used for high hairlines or thinning hair (brow lift).
  • Gallery. The eyelid surgery gallery category includes a facelift with upper blepharoplasty case (eyelid gallery).

Other procedures

The practice lists facelift, the Swiftlift lower face and neck lift, fat-transfer facelift, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, chin and cheek implants, breast and body surgery, and medspa treatments (our providers).

Insurance and cost

  • "Most insurance policies don't cover eyelid surgery unless you can prove that drooping upper lids interfere with your vision. Check with your insurer." (eyelid surgery)
  • The site publishes no price and states cost varies by patient. Financing is available through Key Bank, Zions Bank and Care Credit.

  • Quick facts: procedure time 1 to 2 hours; return to work 3 to 7 days; full results 3 to 6 weeks.
  • Bruising peaks in the first week and lasts two weeks to a month.
