Eyelid surgery work
The blepharoplasty page states upper eyelid surgery is usually done in-office under local anesthesia, takes about an hour or less when limited to the upper lid, and more than 2 hours if both upper and lower lids are treated; incisions are hidden in the eyelids' natural creases (blepharoplasty). The same page describes Asian eyelid surgery, creating a more pronounced upper eyelid crease for patients who want it. Brow lift is offered separately, often combined with blepharoplasty for facial rejuvenation (source).
Each ACENT physician is board-certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery; the blepharoplasty page states Dr. Ellerbe and Dr. Kallman are also board-certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. No before-and-after gallery page exists on the site.
Other procedures
Dr. Ellerbe's services list also includes adenoidectomy, ear tubes, tonsillectomy, sleep apnea surgery, skin cancer treatment, sinus surgery, septoplasty, rhinoplasty, thyroid surgery, chin augmentation, otoplasty, dermal fillers and BOTOX Cosmetic (source).
Insurance and cost
Recovery, per the blepharoplasty page: significant swelling and bruising rarely last beyond 2 weeks, and most patients are presentable within a week to 10 days (blepharoplasty).
