Eyelid surgery work

  • Upper blepharoplasty. An incision in the natural crease of the upper lid; excess skin is removed and the fat pad sculpted, and underlying muscle may be tightened. Performed under local anesthesia with or without sedation, in one to two hours. The page lists ptosis correction among the concerns treated (source).
  • Lower blepharoplasty. Dr. Locketz uses a transconjunctival approach when possible and often repositions fat to fill hollow tear troughs. Incisions may also be placed along the lash line. Lower lid support to prevent ectropion and fat grafting are described (source).
  • Reconstruction. The eyelid page states he performs eyelid reconstruction after skin cancer removal and sees patients referred after trauma or Mohs surgery (blepharoplasty).
  • Brow lift. Endoscopic brow lift through small incisions hidden in the hair, and temporal brow lift for the outer third of the brow; one to two hours, outpatient (source).

Galleries: 15 blepharoplasty cases (blepharoplasty gallery) and 7 brow lift cases (brow lift gallery).

Other procedures

The site lists deep plane facelift, deep neck lift, revision facelift, lip lift, rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, chin implant, neck liposuction, and laser treatments including BBL and HALO (source).

Insurance and cost

The upper, lower and brow lift pages state that cost depends on the treatment plan and that pricing is given at consultation. The site publishes no prices and makes no statement about insurance or Medicare coverage.
