Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. A small incision across the upper eyelid crease; excess fat and skin are removed and the remaining muscle and skin tightened (blepharoplasty).
- Lower blepharoplasty. An incision inside the lower eyelid or just under the lash line; fat is repositioned or removed, skin trimmed and muscle tightened. Volume may be added under the eye and along the upper cheek.
- Quad blepharoplasty. Upper and lower surgery in a single operation.
- Surgery is outpatient under general anesthesia, IV sedation or local anesthesia, in the practice's onsite AAAASF-certified surgical suite, and takes one to three hours.
- Brow lift. Three approaches: endoscopic (three 1.5 cm incisions behind the hairline), temporal (a 2 cm incision behind each temple hairline, under twilight anesthesia) and classic (an ear-to-ear incision in the hairline) (source).
