Eyelid surgery work
- Blepharoplasty, upper and lower. When applicable, Dr. Albert uses a CO2 laser as the cutting tool in place of a scalpel. The page states the laser seals small vessels as it cuts, which reduces bleeding (blepharoplasty).
- Upper eyelid: the laser incision is placed in the natural crease; excess skin is removed, fat repositioned or removed, and the underlying muscle tightened.
- Lower eyelid: he tightens the loose eyelid muscle and septum through a transconjunctival laser incision inside the eyelid, with no external incision.
- Fat: he "usually leaves most of the fat, opting to simply reposition it," which the page says avoids a hollowed-out look.
- After the surgical portion, he can use fractional CO2 laser resurfacing to tighten under-eye wrinkling.
- The page lists treatment areas: upper lid skin folds that can impair vision, eyelid fat bags, drooping lower lids that show white below the iris, and lower lid fine wrinkles. It also states he tightens loose levator muscles as needed.
- Brow lift. Endoscopic brow lift through a few small incisions above the hairline, under local or general anesthesia, with dissolvable Endotine devices to hold the brow tissue. The page states he is a lead instructor for these devices (endoscopic brow lift).
Galleries: blepharoplasty before-and-after cases (source) and brow lift cases (source), each behind an age-confirmation prompt. The procedure pages also carry before-and-after sliders.
Other procedures
The practice offers facelift (deep plane, mini, ponytail), endoscopic mid-facelift, neck lift, forehead reduction, lip lift, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, facial implants, hair transplant, breast and body surgery and a med spa. A second surgeon, Hilton Becker, MD, practices at the center (Dr. Becker).
Insurance and cost
- The site publishes no eyelid surgery price and makes no statement on insurance for eyelid surgery.
- Brow lift cost varies by patient and is quoted after consultation; "Medical insurance does not cover a Brow Lift" (endoscopic brow lift).
Recovery
- Laser blepharoplasty: minimal downtime, "often less than one week." Patients go home with a cold compress, ophthalmic ointment and lubricating eye drops (blepharoplasty).
- Swelling and bruising are present but less with the laser; cold compresses keep them to a minimum.
- Brow lift: return to normal routine, including work, within a week; avoid strenuous activity for a few weeks; swelling and bruising subside in five to seven days (endoscopic brow lift).
