- Board certifications as printed on the CV: "Certified American Board of Plastic Surgery (recertified in 2004)"; "Certified American Board of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery"; "Certified American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery." The site calls him triple board-certified.
- Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery (Plastic Surgery), Medical College of Georgia.
- Fellow, American College of Surgeons; Fellow, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
- Member of the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, ASAPS, ISAPS, ASPS, the American Cleft and Palate Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Nueces County Medical Society.
- The site states his practice has been devoted to cosmetic surgery and cosmetic medicine for the last two decades, and that he has performed cleft lip and palate repair at Driscoll Children's Hospital.
Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. A strip of skin is removed along with fat near the nasal edge; scars fall in the natural lid folds and are closed with fine sutures.
- Lower blepharoplasty. Incisions are subciliary (near the lash line) or transconjunctival (inside the lid, for fat bulges, with no visible scar). Fat, tissue, muscle and skin are repositioned or removed.
- Lateral canthoplasty. For significant lower lid laxity or eye prominence, performed through the same incisions to raise the outer corner of the lid.
- Double eyelid surgery creates an upper lid crease. The page also describes ptosis, entropion and ectropion.
- Surgery takes place in the practice's surgical office suite under local anesthesia and usually takes 1-2 hours. A vision test and sometimes a tear production test come first.
- Male eyelid surgery. Under local or IV sedation, usually under an hour; Dr. Gentile uses the transconjunctival approach most of the time for lower lids (male eyelid surgery).
- Brow lift. Coronal, endoscopic and temporal techniques; temporal is usually combined with endoscopic. Incisions are hidden along the hairline; the procedure takes about two hours (brow lift).
- Forehead lift. Classic, endoscopic and reverse (hairline-lowering) techniques (forehead lift).

Other procedures
The site lists facelift, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, cheek and chin augmentation, lip augmentation, face fat transfer, breast surgery, tummy tuck, mommy makeover, liposuction, Brazilian butt lift, arm, thigh and body lifts, and injectables and skin treatments (source).
Insurance and cost
- "The cost of the Upper Blepharoplasty is approximately $2,800"; lower eyelid surgery is a bit higher, and the combination is "significantly discounted."
- Some insurers covered the procedure in the past; the site calls coverage "virtually an impossible task today."
- Medicare requires that excess upper eyelid skin reduce vision by 50% or more before approval.
Recovery
- Slightly blurred vision for a couple of days and some light sensitivity; cold compresses and head elevation for several days (eyelid surgery).
- Most patients are presentable in four days; makeup is allowed after three days.
- Eyes feel tight for at least a week. Dissolvable sutures are used in most cases.
- Final results are seen within a few months.
- Male blepharoplasty: a short 5-day recuperation (male eyelid surgery).
- Brow lift: bruising and swelling dissipate over one to two weeks (brow lift).
