- Board certification: "board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery."
- Over 70 written papers and 60 presentations on facial and breast reconstruction techniques.

Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. The incision is often placed along the eyelid crease to excise loose skin and fatty tissue, reducing folds that impair vision.
- Lower blepharoplasty. Dr. Anthony removes tissue and fat and then lifts the skin. Incisions are either hidden inside the eyelid (transconjunctival) or placed on the outer lid along the lash line.
- Combined upper and lower blepharoplasty. Lasts up to 2.5 hours; the page states the recovery time is the same as for a single procedure.
- Add-ons. A non-surgical laser procedure may be added for discoloration, and fillers for smoothing.
- The page notes eyelid surgery may be medically necessary when droopy upper eyelids or a sagging brow obscure vision, and that patients born without an upper eyelid crease may consider double eyelid surgery.
- Brow lift. Performed under IV sedation or general anesthesia. Techniques listed: lateral brow lift (temporal browplasty, incision within the hairline above the temples), trichophytic incision (directly against the hairline) and endoscopic forehead lift (several small incisions behind the hairline) (source).
Galleries: the eyelid lift gallery shows 19 cases on the first of two pages (source); the brow lift gallery shows 9 cases (source).
The site has no dedicated page for ptosis repair, double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty or revision eyelid surgery.
Other procedures
Face pages cover facelift, mini facelift, neck lift, neck liposuction, cheek lift, facial fat grafting, ear surgery and chin augmentation. The site also offers breast and body surgery, injectables and other non-surgical treatments (drjamesanthony.com).
Insurance and cost
- "Insurance may cover eyelid surgery if it's deemed medically necessary, such as when sagging eyelids impair vision." Purely cosmetic procedures are typically not covered (source).
- The site publishes no eyelid surgery price. Cost depends on upper, lower or both lids and is set at consultation; the financing page lists CareCredit and states that staff will assist with any insurance filing, if applicable (source).
Recovery
- Back to work: patients generally require a week off work.
- Swelling and bruising: begin to fade in a few days and diminish over the next week.
- Sleep on the back for 1 to 2 weeks; use a cool pack.
- Glasses may be worn the next day; contacts after about ten days to two weeks.
- Exercise and strenuous activity resume within 2 to 4 weeks.
- Results: most patients keep the benefits for 10 to 15 years or more.
