- Brigadier General in the U.S. Air Force (Air National Guard), serving as Air National Guard Assistant to the Director, Medical Operations, Office of the Surgeon General.
Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Excess skin, muscle and fat are removed in proportion to restore the eye's original shape; the incision is hidden in the natural crease. A brow lift may also be needed.
- Lower blepharoplasty. Treats redundant skin, muscle and fat of the lower lid. The page states dark circles are usually shadows cast by bulging fat, and removing fat often removes them. Subciliary and transconjunctival approaches are chosen at consultation.
- Surgery usually takes place in Dr. Parry's office-based surgical facility in Mayfield Heights rather than an operating room. Procedures take 30 minutes to 2 hours. Some patients see an ophthalmologist first to rule out eye disease.
- Combined procedures named: brow or forehead lift, laser skin resurfacing and Botox.
- Brow lift. Coronal (for low hairlines, incision in the hair from ear to ear), pretrichial (along the hairline, lowers a high hairline), endoscopic (small incisions, suspends tissue, for minimal drooping) and temporal (limited lift along the temporal hairline) (source).
Galleries: blepharoplasty, 9 cases (source); brow lift, 3 cases (source).
