Eyelid surgery work

The bio lists eyelid lift among his facial procedures (source). The eyelid surgery page describes these options (source):

  • Upper eyelid lift: an incision in the natural crease of the eyelid; excess skin and small amounts of fat are removed to reduce hooding, and the incision is closed with fine sutures.
  • Lower eyelid lift: an external incision just below the lash line or an internal approach; fat may be removed or repositioned and skin tightened.
  • Transconjunctival blepharoplasty: an incision inside the lower eyelid to treat under-eye fat without an external scar.
  • Canthoplasty or canthopexy: tightening or repositioning of the outer corner of the eye.
  • Combination blepharoplasty: upper and lower lids in one operation.

The page states surgery is outpatient, uses local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, and takes about 1 to 2 hours. It separates cosmetic blepharoplasty from functional blepharoplasty, which is done when excess upper eyelid skin interferes with vision. It states upper eyelid results often last 10 to 15 years or longer.

The practice eyelid gallery shows before-and-after cases numbered by patient; the cases do not name a surgeon (source).

Other procedures

The bio lists breast augmentation, lift, reduction and reconstruction; tummy tuck, liposuction, arm and thigh lift and Mommy Makeover; fat transfer; facelift, rhinoplasty, hair transplant and hairline lowering; and Botox, fillers and laser.

Insurance and cost

The site publishes no eyelid surgery prices and no statement on insurance or Medicare coverage. The financing page states payment is due in full two weeks before surgery and lists CareCredit, cash and most credit cards (financing).

Recovery

  • Swelling and bruising: improve within 1 to 2 weeks; subtle swelling can last longer.
  • Sutures out: by the end of the first week, if non-dissolvable stitches were used.
  • Back to work: most patients return within 7 to 10 days.
