Training and board certification
Dr. Harmon earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Cornell University, where he rowed competitively for the crew team, then his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and a fellowship in facial plastic surgery through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) at the New York Center for Facial Plastic and Laser Surgery under Dr. Andrew Jacono. He is one of few surgeons worldwide, and the only one in the Cincinnati area, fellowship-trained by Dr. Jacono in the extended deep plane facelift technique Jacono developed. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and has been a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2025. His peer-reviewed publications include a 2022 Aesthetic Surgery Journal paper on a platysma hammock flap technique during extended deep plane facelift. Eyelid surgery work
The blepharoplasty page describes upper blepharoplasty as excising a curvilinear shape of excess skin within the natural lid crease, repositioning fat pads, and securing drooping tissue to the bony orbital rim while preserving the eye muscle. Lower blepharoplasty is primarily transconjunctival: an incision on the inner eyelid lining accesses bulging fat pads, which Dr. Harmon repositions or transfers toward the cheek and tear trough; when excess lower lid skin also needs removal, a sub-lash incision adds skin excision, support sutures and muscle tightening. The blepharoplasty gallery shows more than 30 before-and-after patients. The brow lift page describes five approaches: the lateral temporal brow lift (two small incisions in the hair-bearing temples, Dr. Harmon's most common brow lift), endoscopic brow lift, coronal brow lift, pretrichial (hairline) brow lift, and direct brow lift (for patients with facial paralysis). The brow lift gallery shows multiple before-and-after patients.
Other procedures
The practice's other surgical procedures include deep plane facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, chin implants, lip lift, and hair restoration. Non-surgical offerings include Botox, dermal fillers, and laser resurfacing.
