Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Removes excess skin and fat that weigh down the upper lid. The incision is hidden in the natural eyelid crease. The page states upper blepharoplasty can improve a field of vision blocked by drooping lids (eyelid surgery).
- Lower blepharoplasty. Treats under-eye bags, puffiness and dark circles by removing or repositioning fat and tightening skin. Incisions are placed just below the lash line or inside the eyelid (transconjunctival).
- Upper and lower procedures can be done at the same time, and eyelid surgery is often combined with a brow lift, facelift or injectables.
- The page lists typical candidates: generally age 35 or older, in good health, non-smokers or willing to stop, with a stable eye prescription and no serious eye conditions such as glaucoma or detached retina.
- Brow lift. The brow lift page offers endoscopic brow lift (several small incisions), coronal lift (an incision across the top of the head from ear to ear) and temporal lift, with incisions placed in the hairline. Smokers are asked to stop at least 4 weeks before and after surgery.
- Gallery. The blepharoplasty gallery shows seven before-and-after cases. The site has no brow lift gallery.
Other procedures
Other face procedures on the site are facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, chin augmentation, upper lip lift and otoplasty, with galleries for facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty and otoplasty. The practice also offers breast and body surgery and a med spa (face, source).
Insurance and cost
- "Many insurance plans cover functional eyelid surgery when drooping eyelids interfere with vision." Visual field testing at consultation determines whether a patient qualifies (eyelid surgery).
- The site publishes no prices.
- The practice accepts all major credit cards and CareCredit (financing).
Recovery
- Eye makeup can usually be worn again once sutures are removed and incisions have healed; gentle, hypoallergenic products are advised and waterproof formulas avoided at first (eyelid surgery).
- The eyelid page gives no day counts for return to work, bruising or exercise.
- After a brow lift, hair can be washed gently once bandages are removed; forehead and scalp numbness is common and usually resolves (brow lift).
