Eyelid surgery work
The practice's eyelid surgery page describes upper eyelid surgery through an incision in the natural crease of each eyelid, removing excess skin and fat, closed with fine sutures that fade into the crease. Lower blepharoplasty incisions are made either in the lash line or inside the eyelid, removing fat that causes puffiness with minimal to no visible scarring. The FAQ section states the practice performs an average of 30 to 50 eyelid surgeries per year (source).

Insurance and cost
The eyelid surgery FAQ states commercial insurance may cover upper blepharoplasty if a visual field study documents vision impaired by eyelid overhang, requiring a predetermination letter and photos sent to the insurer; lower eyelid surgery is always considered cosmetic and is not covered. No dollar price is published; the page states cost depends on the extent of surgery needed (source).
