Eyelid surgery work
The blepharoplasty page states Dr. Barrera treats upper and lower eyelid excess skin, fat and wrinkles, and names transconjunctival blepharoplasty (hiding the scar in the conjunctiva of the lower eyelid) and the transconjunctival skin muscle flap technique for addressing displaced orbital fat (blepharoplasty). The page states management of the lower lid and tear trough evaluation is a particular focus. A separate page describes blepharoplasty with fat transposition, which repositions rather than removes periorbital fat (source). The blepharoplasty page also describes laser eyelid surgery, using a CO2 fractional laser for the incision (Lumenis AcuPulse/UltraPulse or Syneron Candela CO2RE systems) for faster recovery.
