Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Incision in the natural eyelid crease conceals scarring; muscles tightened as needed, fat repositioned rather than removed (unless in excess, to avoid a hollow look), excess skin trimmed (source).
- Lower blepharoplasty. Incision placed just below the lower lash line or, in a transconjunctival approach, inside the eyelid, depending on the patient's anatomy; excess skin removed if causing puffiness or wrinkling (source).
- Transconjunctival blepharoplasty. Leaves no outer scar; can involve less trauma and bruising, making for a faster recovery in appropriate cases (source).
The practice site has no before-and-after photo gallery.
Other procedures
Richens Eye Center also offers brow lift and facelift/neck lift, though those pages are attributed on the site to Dr. Sharon Richens and to the practice generally rather than to Dr. Tarbet specifically, so they are not included as her individual work here (source). The broader practice (7 providers) also offers LASIK, cataract surgery, glaucoma and retina care.
Insurance and cost
