Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Removes or repositions excess skin and, when needed, small amounts of fat; incisions are placed within the natural crease (blepharoplasty).
- Lower blepharoplasty. Addresses puffiness, under-eye bags and loose skin; the approach often involves repositioning fat and refining the skin to smooth the transition from lower eyelid to cheek.
- Combined upper and lower blepharoplasty. Both eyelids treated in one procedure.
- Awake eyelid surgery. When appropriate, Dr. Hamwi performs the procedure awake, with only local anesthesia, for eligible patients.
- Brow lift. Three techniques: coronal brow lift (incision across the top of the head from ear to ear), endoscopic brow lift (small incisions within the hairline with a camera), and temporal brow lift, which can be done under local anesthesia in the office (source). The brow lift page states that eyelid sagging from excess eyelid skin or fat may need blepharoplasty instead.
The eyelid lift gallery shows 11 before-and-after patient cases (source). The site has no brow lift gallery and no page for ptosis repair, canthoplasty or revision eyelid surgery.
Other procedures
The site lists facelift, neck lift, mini facelift, neck contouring and chin augmentation, breast and body surgery including awake liposuction and awake brachioplasty, hair restoration, and medspa treatments such as neurotoxins, fillers, CO2 laser and Morpheus8 (face).
Insurance and cost
The site publishes no prices and no statement on insurance or Medicare coverage for eyelid surgery. The brow lift page states the practice takes surgery consultation fees in 2026. A financing page is listed (financing).
Recovery

- Activity: many patients return to light activities within several days.
- Final result: results continue to refine over several weeks.
- Brow lift: swelling and mild bruising for a few weeks; final results over the next several months (source).
