Eyelid surgery work
Upper blepharoplasty. The upper eyelid page describes marking incisions along the natural crease and removing excess skin and fat, with the remaining tissue tightened and repositioned. It can be done in the office under local anesthesia or combined with lower blepharoplasty or other facial surgery under general anesthesia. Patients spend one to two hours in recovery before going home.
Lower blepharoplasty. The lower eyelid page states that Dr. Shastri and Dr. Gill remove or reposition excess fat and remove or tighten redundant skin. The incision is just below the lash line (transcutaneous) or inside the lower eyelid (transconjunctival), closed with dissolvable stitches.
Brow lift. The forehead lift page states Dr. Shastri and Dr. Gill use an endoscopic forehead lift through small hairline incisions, with dissolving Endotines to hold the brow. It is outpatient under general anesthesia and takes one to two hours.
Galleries. The practice has upper and lower blepharoplasty gallery pages, but the page descriptions credit the cases to Dr. Karthik Shastri, so this profile lists no gallery for Dr. Gill.
