Eyelid surgery work
The eyelid lift page lists double eyelid surgery, lower eyelids only, upper eyelids only, upper and lower eyelids combined, a "transbleph" procedure for the brow, and corrugator resection for frown lines.
- Upper eyelid. Incisions follow the natural lines of the eyelid and are concealed in the upper eyelid fold; excess skin and fat are removed. The page states upper eyelid surgery may help patients whose lids have sagged enough to reduce the field of vision.
- Lower eyelid. The incision is placed below the lower lashes or inside the lower eyelid. Fat can be removed through the inside of the eyelid with no external scar, and in some cases fat is redistributed to reduce puffiness.
- Double eyelid surgery. Incisions follow the natural creases of the upper lids and may extend into the crow's feet area.
- Canthopexy. Raises the corners of the eyelids, tightens a lax lower eyelid and is used to prevent eyelid malposition after surgery.
- Anesthesia and time. Surgery is done under twilight anesthesia; upper and lower eyelid surgery together usually takes 1 to 2 hours.
- Gallery. The eyelid lift page shows before-and-after photographs of eyelid and lower-lid patients.
Other procedures
The brow lift page describes a brow lift through small incisions in the hairline or the upper eyelid fold. The face page lists full and mini facelift, facial implants, fat grafting, rhinoplasty and otoplasty; the site also offers breast, body and non-surgical procedures.
Insurance and cost
The financing page states that the practice works with a healthcare financing company for extended payments and does "not participate with any insurance providers." The site publishes no prices.
Recovery
- Patients go home without bandages over the eyes and keep the head elevated for several days.
- Sutures are generally removed 4 to 5 days after surgery.
- Healing takes about a couple of weeks.
