Eyelid surgery work
- Upper eyelid surgery. The eyes page describes removing the extra skin that hangs above the eye and lands on the lashes through the natural crease; the operation takes about an hour (eyes). The hooded eyelids guide states that excess lid skin and a lowered brow are assessed together before deciding on lid surgery alone (hooded eyelids, upper eyelid surgery).
- Lower eyelid surgery. The site compares the lower lid to a hammock whose supports can weaken; treatment depends on whether the concern is a bag, hollowing, loose skin or swelling (lower eyelid surgery, under-eye bags). The older practice page names the transconjunctival technique, an incision inside the lower eyelid (eyelid enhancement).
- Brow. Neuromodulator is used first where the brow is pulled down; when the brow has fallen onto the lid, the lateral brow lift through the hairline lifts the outer brow (eyes, brow lift).
- Non-surgical lid options. Upneeq drops for a lid that sits a little low, and Latisse for thinning lashes.
- She states she removes skin conservatively and leaves the shape of the eye alone. Surgery is done in her office surgery suite, usually in about two hours or less.
The site has no gallery page with labeled eyelid or brow surgery cases.
Other procedures
The treatments page lists facelift (including deep plane, mini and revision), cheek lift, neck lift, fat grafting, lip lift, rhinoplasty, earlobe repair, cheek and chin augmentation, injectables, lasers and skin care (treatments).
Insurance and cost
The pricing page states that facelift, neck, eyelids and fat grafting are quoted after a consultation "as one number" covering surgeon, facility, anesthesia and follow-up (pricing). The site publishes no eyelid price and no statement on insurance or Medicare coverage.
Recovery
- Sutures out at one week after eyelid surgery (eyes).
- Bruising and swelling are worst in the first days and settle over two to three weeks; most women are comfortable in public in dark glasses within days.
- The older practice page advises postponing exercise and contact lens wear for about two to three weeks and gives an average recovery of about ten days (eyelid enhancement).
- Brow lift: bruising and swelling last about 10 days; sutures or clips are removed at 5 to 10 days (browlift).
