Eyelid surgery work
- Eyelid surgery. The face surgery page describes it as "removal of excess skin and fat from upper and lower eyelids to rejuvenate the eye area." Face surgery is done under general anesthesia or IV sedation (face).
- A 2017 practice blog post states some patients need only upper or lower lid surgery, while others combine both. Dr. Hanemann plans a customized procedure after examining the eyes at consultation (source).
- The face page FAQ states facelift is often combined with eyelid surgery, brow lift or facial fat injections.
- The site has no dedicated eyelid procedure page. The face gallery includes an "Eyelid Rejuvenation" category (gallery/Face).
Other procedures
The face surgery page lists facelift, brow lift and neck lift. Brow lift is described as raising drooping eyebrows and smoothing forehead wrinkles (face). A 2015 blog post describes two brow lift methods: an incision at or below the hairline, and an endoscopic method through small incisions. Brow lift and facelift each take about one to two hours (source). The practice also offers rhinoplasty, otoplasty, chin augmentation, breast and body surgery. Its two in-office operating rooms are AAAASF accredited (source).
Insurance and cost
The site makes no statement on insurance, Medicare or price for eyelid surgery. For facelift, the site states quotes given at consultation include the surgeon's fee, anesthesia, facility and postoperative care, and that Care Credit financing is offered (face).
