Eyelid surgery work
- Blepharoplasty. The eyelid page describes blepharoplasty, also called an eyelid lift, as tightening the skin around the eyes, reducing under-eye bags and restoring eyelid contour. It can be performed on the upper or lower eyelid. Excess skin is removed, and fatty deposits "can be removed or repositioned" (source).
- The page lists four conditions the procedure treats: droopy eyelids, under-eye bags, excess eyelid skin and restricted vision.
- Anesthesia: local anesthesia or intravenous sedation; sedation or general anesthesia for more involved surgery or combined procedures. The operation takes about twenty minutes to two hours, and the patient goes home the same day, driven by a friend or family member.
- Blepharoplasty can be performed alone or with other facial procedures.
- Brow lift. The brow lift page describes an incision at the hairline near the ears or within the scalp, with the skin and underlying muscle tightened to smooth the forehead and lift drooping brows. The page names endoscopic surgery to reposition the brow skin and muscle (source).
- Gallery. The blepharoplasty gallery shows nine before-and-after patient cases (source). The site has no brow lift gallery.
The site has no separate page for ptosis repair, double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty or revision eyelid surgery.
Other procedures
The site also lists facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, fat transfer, ear surgery and facial reconstruction; breast augmentation, lift, reduction, revision and reconstruction, including DIEP flap and robotic breast surgery; tummy tuck and mommy makeover; and BOTOX, fillers, laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, scar revision and skin cancer treatment (neiltanna.com).
Insurance and cost
The eyelid and brow lift pages make no statement about insurance, Medicare or price. The site FAQ addresses insurance only for breast reconstruction (source).
