Eyelid surgery work
- Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). The page describes treatment of the upper and/or lower eyelids: loose skin is removed, and fat that causes puffiness and bags is removed or repositioned (source).
- Upper eyelid incisions are placed in the natural crease of the eyelid. Lower eyelid incisions may be placed just below the lashes to remove excess skin, or hidden within the lower lid to remove and reposition tissue.
- The page states upper eyelid surgery removes excess skin and fat that hang down and impair a person's range of vision.
- Brow lift. The brow lift page lists two types: endoscopic, with several small incisions in the hair and a camera-guided endoscope, and classic, with an incision along or within the hairline and skin removal. The page states numbness behind a classic incision may persist for nine to twelve months, and that blepharoplasty, facelift and fillers are often combined with brow lift (source).
The photo gallery has no blepharoplasty or brow lift category; its eye-area category covers tear trough fillers (source). The site has no page for ptosis repair, double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty or revision eyelid surgery.
Other procedures
The site lists facelift, the Y-Lift, fat transfer, hair restoration, breast augmentation, lift, reduction and implant removal, tummy tuck, liposuction, labiaplasty, injectables, lasers, microneedling and platelet-rich plasma treatments.
Insurance and cost
The site states no insurance, Medicare or price figure for eyelid surgery. The financing page lists cash, cashier's check, Mastercard, Visa, American Express and approved checks, plus Cherry payment plans and CareCredit (financing).
Recovery
- Back to work: most patients resume work and normal activities about ten days after eyelid surgery.
- Swelling and bruising: may persist for a couple of weeks; cold compresses help.
- Final result: smoother eyelids are generally visible within a few weeks; incision lines may take up to a year to refine.
- Brow lift: sleep with head elevated for five to seven days; most patients return to work one week after surgery (source).
