Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Lid-crease incision to remove excess skin and recontour or remove fat; may be combined with brow lift or lower blepharoplasty (source).
- Lower blepharoplasty. Described as a "scarless" transconjunctival technique with a hidden incision inside the lid; fat is removed or repositioned (fat transposition); canthopexy may be added for tendon laxity, and laser resurfacing or fillers may supplement the result. Page states lower blepharoplasty is cosmetic and not covered by insurance (source).
- Ptosis repair. Incision in the lid crease to tighten the levator muscle; symmetry within 1mm is considered a success, and touch-up surgery is sometimes needed (source).
- Brow lift and pretrichial brow lift. The pretrichial technique places the incision a few millimeters behind the hairline, beveled to let hair regrow through the scar; described as substantially faded by 6 months, with numbness typically improving by 6 months (source, source).
- Ectropion repair (out-turned eyelid). Lower eyelid tightening; for skin shortage, a skin graft (from the upper eyelid or behind the ear) or midface lift; one gallery case is captioned "lateral tarsal strip and Enduragen graft" (ectropion).
- Entropion repair (in-turned eyelid). Tightening of the eyelid and its attachments to restore normal position (entropion).
- Skin cancer reconstruction. Repair of eyelid defects after Mohs surgical excision of periocular skin cancer (source).
