Eyelid surgery work
- Blepharoplasty. The site offers eyelid surgery for cosmetic reasons and to correct vision blocked by drooping lids. Upper eyelid incisions are hidden in the natural creases; lower eyelid incisions run along the lash line. Excess fat is removed, then skin is excised (source).
- Upper eyelid surgery typically takes less than an hour; lower eyelid surgery takes one to two hours. Most cases use local anesthesia with oral sedation. General anesthesia may be advised for more extensive lower lid work.
- Double eyelid surgery. For Asian patients, the upper eyelid is reshaped to create a low crease that does not look too "Westernized."
- Brow position is assessed with the upper lid and cheek position with the lower lid. A brow lift, midface lift or fat transfer may be suggested.
- Brow lift. The brow lift page lists six approaches: bicoronal, endoscopic (3-5 small incisions behind the hairline), pretrichial or trichophytic, temporal short scar, direct brow lift, and transblepharoplasty browpexy done through the upper eyelid incision (source).
Galleries:
- Eyelid surgery: three pages of cases, mostly upper lid blepharoplasty, labeled with patient age (source).
- Brow lift: cases combining forehead and temporal brow lift with facelift and blepharoplasty (source).
- Male browpexy: upper and lower blepharoplasty with lipoinjection (source).
The site has no page for ptosis repair, canthoplasty or revision eyelid surgery.
Other procedures
The site lists facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, chin and ear surgery, lip lift and reduction, buccal fat extraction, dimple creation and fillers, plus breast and body procedures.
Insurance and cost
- The eyelid page states "some portion of costs may be covered by your insurance plan" when the provider considers the procedure medically necessary (source).
- The total includes the surgeon's fee, surgical facility and anesthesiologist. The practice gives prices on request and offers financing.
