Eyelid surgery work
The site has a single combined "Eye Lift" page covering both upper and lower blepharoplasty (eye lift):
- Upper eyelid. An incision within the natural upper eyelid crease allows removal of fat deposits and/or excess skin for a firmer contour.
- Lower eyelid. A transconjunctival incision, hidden inside the lower eyelid, is used to redistribute or remove fat. An incision just below the lower lash line is described as an alternate technique to excise excess skin.
- The page states the procedure takes about 1-2 hours under general anesthesia, is typically outpatient (same-day discharge), and that functional blepharoplasty correcting vision impairment from excess skin can be covered by insurance if the patient meets the insurer's criteria, usually with additional testing required.
- Recovery: swelling, soreness and bruising can last several days and take 1-2 weeks to fully resolve; patients keep the head elevated and wear sunglasses; typical return to work is 1 week after surgery; final results take several weeks to show fully and, with sun protection and no tobacco use, are described as lasting many years.
The site has no before-and-after gallery page for eyelid surgery or any other procedure.
Other procedures
The practice also offers facelift, rhinoplasty, cheek/chin implants, earlobe repair, body contouring (abdominoplasty, liposuction, arm/thigh/buttock contouring, mommy makeover), breast augmentation/lift/reduction, scar revision, and skin cancer excision using the Mohs technique (face procedures).
Insurance and cost
Functional blepharoplasty may be covered by insurance if the patient meets the insurer's criteria for vision impairment, with additional testing usually required; purely cosmetic blepharoplasty is not addressed as covered. The practice's insurance and financing page lists accepted insurers generally (Blue Cross Blue Shield, Coresource, Cigna, Tricare, Medicare, Medicaid, United Health Care, Aetna) without tying any of them specifically to eyelid surgery. No price figures for eyelid surgery are published.
