Eyelid surgery work

  • Blepharoplasty. Dr. Lanfranchi offers upper, lower and combined eyelid lift. A small incision in a natural crease of the eyelid is used to trim and tighten excess skin, and fat pads may be removed or adjusted to reduce under-eye bags (blepharoplasty).
  • Upper blepharoplasty. A fine incision is placed in the natural crease of both upper lids. Excess thin skin is removed, then any bulging fat pads, to improve the contour of the inner lid. The page states the procedure does not change eye shape or brow position, and can be performed in patients as young as 30 when indicated (source).
  • Lower blepharoplasty. An outpatient procedure under local anesthetic, about one hour. Through a small incision in the natural skin creases, fat pads are readjusted, excess skin removed and the muscles between the lower lid and cheek tightened. Lower lid wrinkling is treated with fractional CO2 laser, and lid-cheek hollowness with filler or fat transfer (source).
  • Brow lift. Thin incisions in the scalp hairline allow elevation of the outer corners of each brow; a lower brow can be raised to even the two sides, and the inner brow can be addressed when needed. Performed under local anesthesia with a mild oral sedative (source).

Other procedures

The site lists custom facelift, deep plane facelift, mini facelift, lower facelift and neck lift, revision facelift, neck liposculpting, facial fat transfer, chin augmentation, jowl treatments, fractional CO2 laser and facial rejuvenation for men. The practice states it does not perform breast or body procedures (source).

Insurance and cost

  • The site makes no statement about insurance or Medicare coverage for eyelid surgery and publishes no eyelid price.
  • Financing: Cherry and CareCredit (financing); the bio page FAQ also lists Alphaeon Credit and major credit cards.
  • The specials page advertises 10% off any procedure, with the offer ending October 31, 2026 (specials).

Recovery

  • Many eyelid patients need two to four days of downtime; a combined upper and lower lift does not typically lengthen recovery (blepharoplasty).
  • Upper blepharoplasty: recovery as short as 2-3 days for many patients (source).
  • Lower blepharoplasty: recovery as fast as 3-4 days for many patients (source).
  • Brow lift: most patients return to normal activities in about one week, when stitches are removed (source).
