Eyelid surgery work

The practice's eyelid-surgery page describes upper blepharoplasty as removal of excess fat and skin "from the interior corner to slightly beyond the outside corner" of the lid, lower blepharoplasty for under-eye bags, and a transconjunctival technique with an incision "just inside the lower eyelid" for no visible external scar. Brow lift is named as a complementary procedure (source).

Other procedures

Dr. Mills's bio states he performs "a full range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, including facelifts, tummy tucks, breast augmentation, and lifts, as well as a variety of body contouring procedures, such as thigh lifts and body lifts" (source).

Insurance and cost

The eyelid-surgery FAQ states eyelid surgery can be performed for medical reasons when vision is obscured and may be covered by health insurance, but insurance typically will not cover it when performed for cosmetic reasons. No prices are published. Recovery timeline as stated on the page: first 24-48 hours, mild swelling and bruising managed with over-the-counter pain medication; day 7, one-week post-op visit with suture removal; days 10-14, "socially presentable," return to office and social events; weeks 3-4, resume strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, running and contact lenses (source).
