Eyelid surgery work
The practice's page describes (source):
- Upper eyelid. Incision in the natural lid crease; fat repositioned or removed, muscle tightened, excess skin removed. Can be done in-office under local anesthesia (under two hours) or at an accredited outpatient surgery center under IV sedation.
- Lower eyelid. Two incision options: just below the lash line (fat and skin removal) or transconjunctival, inside the lid (fat repositioning only, no skin removed).
- Double eyelid crease. For patients without a natural eyelid crease, such as some Asian patients, a crease is created as part of the procedure.
Surgery duration is stated as one to three hours depending on extent. The page gives two different figures for how long upper-eyelid results last: five to seven years in the main body text, and 10-15 years in the FAQ; lower-lid results are described as more or less permanent.
Other procedures
The practice offers brow lift, deep plane facelift, neck lift, chin and cheek augmentation, lip lift, primary/revision/ethnic rhinoplasty, and facial rejuvenation treatments (CO2 laser, PRFM/PRP fat transfer), plus breast and body procedures (source).
Insurance and cost
No insurance or price statement for eyelid surgery found on the site.
Side effects and risks disclosed for blepharoplasty: temporary bruising, swelling, dry eyes, light sensitivity and blurry vision; incision/scarring risk; eyelid asymmetry, temporary lagophthalmos, or altered lower-lid position; general surgical risks including bleeding, infection and anesthesia reaction (source).
Recovery: plan for seven to ten days off work; expect bruising, irritation and swelling managed with ice and head elevation; wait about 1-2 weeks before applying eye makeup.
