Eyelid surgery work
- Upper eyelid surgery. Incision placed in the natural eyelid crease; removes excess sagging skin and fat deposits; can clear vision obstruction from severe drooping (source).
- Lower eyelid surgery. Removes or repositions fat causing under-eye bags and puffiness; incision below the lash line (external) or inside the eyelid (for fat repositioning); excess skin may also be removed.
- Canthopexy/canthoplasty. Named on the page as a modification to the lower eyelid "to restore its youthful tension and to also help prevent post-operative swelling known as 'chemosis.'"
- Procedure is outpatient, under local anesthesia with deep sedation or general anesthesia, taking 1-3 hours. Mild skin wrinkling can be corrected in the same operation with a chemical peel or laser resurfacing.
- Recurrence of excess skin after blepharoplasty is described as uncommon, but when it occurs it can be addressed with a "pinch" of skin removal, chemical peel, or laser resurfacing.
- Brow lift (Browlift Surgery) is offered as a related facial procedure (source).
The eyelid surgery page refers generally to "our surgeons" and "our physicians" rather than naming Dr. Syribeys individually on that page; he is listed as one of the practice's five board-certified plastic surgeons on the About Us and his own bio page.
Other procedures
Per site navigation, the practice also offers breast surgery (augmentation, lift, reduction, DIEP reconstruction), body surgery (liposuction, tummy tuck, BodyTite, post-massive-weight-loss contouring), additional facial surgery (facelift, rhinoplasty, ear surgery, FaceTite, phenol peel), male surgery (gynecomastia), and non-surgical injectables and aesthetic laser/skincare services. The practice operates an on-site accredited surgery center.
Insurance and cost
The site has a general Insurance page covering office billing policy (commercial insurance, HMO/PPO, Medicare co-pay and deductible procedures, workers' compensation), but it does not state whether eyelid surgery specifically is covered by insurance or Medicare. No specific price for eyelid surgery is published.
