  • Surgery is performed in his own AAAHC-accredited outpatient surgery center. Consultations use Vectra 3D imaging.

The bio page does not name his medical school, residency or fellowship.

Eyelid surgery work

  • Upper eyelid lift. The incision is placed in the natural crease of the upper eyelid; excess skin is removed and fat is sculpted or repositioned to improve the eyelid contour. The page states upper blepharoplasty can be performed with local anesthesia and is one of the most common procedures he performs (source).
  • Lower eyelid lift. Protruding fat and excess skin under the eye are altered or removed. The page states he uses one of several approaches based on the patient's eyelids.
  • Consultation includes evaluation of brow position, since a low brow crowds the upper lids, and of skin wrinkles and contour.
  • A typical blepharoplasty takes about an hour, and the patient goes home soon after.
  • Blepharoplasty may be combined with facelift, neck lift, endoscopic brow lift, ptosis repair, laser skin resurfacing and fillers.
  • Brow lift. Endoscopic brow lift through 2 to 3 small hairline incisions with release of the corrugator muscles, or direct brow lift with incisions over the top of the brows. Both are done under mild sedation with local anesthetic (source).

Gallery: the blepharoplasty page shows five patients with before-and-after photographs (source). The site has no brow lift gallery and no separate ptosis, double eyelid, canthoplasty or revision eyelid page.

Other procedures

The site offers primary, revision, ethnic, teenage and functional rhinoplasty, full, mini and deep plane facelift, neck lift, chin and cheek augmentation, otoplasty, earlobe repair, fat transfer and lip augmentation, plus a medical spa with lasers, peels and injectables (facialplasticsatlanta.com).

Insurance and cost

  • Most of the time insurance does not cover elective cosmetic surgery. Some functional procedures may be covered in part or in full depending on the policy; staff help with forms, verification and claims (faqs).
  • The site publishes no eyelid surgery price.
  • Financing through CareCredit (financing).

Recovery

  • After blepharoplasty: recline face-up at a 45-degree angle for at least one week, avoid strenuous activity for 2 to 3 weeks, and keep follow-up visits (source).
  • After brow lift: bruising generally fades within seven days; direct brow lift stitches come out about two weeks later (source).
