Eyelid surgery work
The eyelid lift page states that functional eyelid problems are checked and corrected first, because a cosmetic change alone can make them worse (source).
- Upper eyelid lift: an incision in the natural crease; skin, muscle and sometimes fat are removed; under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia.
- Lower eyelid lift: an incision just below the lash line or inside the lower lid (transconjunctival approach). Fat is removed or repositioned and excess skin trimmed. The page describes fat repositioning, where fat is trimmed and used to fill hollows, and fat grafting from other areas. Lower lid laxity, dryness and position problems may need specialized techniques.
- Brow lift: traditional, endoscopic or temporal (limited incision) technique, under general anesthesia, taking one to two hours (source).
- A lower eyelid lift is often paired with a facelift.
The eyelid gallery holds 10 cases; case pages list the technique, for example "Lower Blepharoplasty with Fat Transposition" (source). The brow lift gallery holds 4 cases (source). A video case study shows an eyelid patient with Dr. Geldner's narration (source).
Other procedures
The site lists facelift, neck lift, facial fat transfer, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and other breast surgery, mommy makeover, surgery after weight loss and men's procedures, plus a med spa with Botox, fillers, Ultherapy, Morpheus8 and EMFACE (source).
Insurance and cost
The site publishes no eyelid surgery prices and no statement on insurance or Medicare coverage. It has a financing page (financing).
