Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Dr. Robb places the incision in a natural fold of the lid, reduces unwanted fat and removes excess skin. It can be done under local anesthesia or sedation in the attached surgery center, and takes about an hour (upper blepharoplasty).
- Lower blepharoplasty. The main eyelid page states he uses the approach with no skin incision, which leaves no scar. He reduces bulging fat and adds volume to refine the lower lid and midface (lower blepharoplasty). Lower lid surgery is done at North Point Surgery Center with anesthesia from a board-certified anesthesiologist.
- The main page says he no longer removes large amounts of upper lid fat, and often combines fat transfer or transposition with blepharoplasty.
- Brow lift. The brow lift page describes coronal (incision behind the hairline), pretrichial (incision at the hairline) and endoscopic brow lifts.
Galleries: upper blepharoplasty, lower blepharoplasty and brow lift, each with before-and-after patient cases.
Other procedures
The site offers deep plane facelift and neck lift, rhinoplasty, buccal fat removal, chin and jawline surgery, lip lift, otoplasty, facial reconstruction after cancer removal and non-surgical injectables.
Insurance and cost
The site publishes no prices. Per the eyelid page, a care coordinator gives the price range, and a formal quote follows the consultation. The site has no statement on insurance or Medicare coverage.
Recovery
- Sutures: upper blepharoplasty sutures come out about five days after surgery; lower blepharoplasty needs no sutures, with a post-op visit at three weeks (blepharoplasty).
- Exercise: no workouts or eye rubbing for two weeks; showering allowed after 24 hours.
- Upper lid: recovery takes one to two weeks; swelling and bruising typically fade in 7 to 10 days.
- Lower lid: office work possible within a week; bruising, if present, subsides in one to two weeks.
- The Robb Rapid Recovery Program offers hyperbaric oxygen chamber sessions.
