- The team page states he is board-certified; the site does not name the certifying board (source).
- The team page lists a tenure as Chief of Plastic Surgery at The University of Kansas Medical Center and more than 30 years of experience.
- The blepharoplasty page names him Chair of the Department of Plastic, Burn and Wound Surgery at the University of Kansas and cites over 40 years in plastic and reconstructive surgery (source).

Eyelid surgery work
- Blepharoplasty. The page describes an outpatient operation that removes excess skin, muscle and sometimes fat from the upper eyelids, lower eyelids or both, usually under local anesthesia with sedation. Upper eyelid incisions follow the natural crease and are closed with fine sutures. For the lower eyelid, fat-only cases may use an incision inside the eyelid (transconjunctival approach); when skin also needs removal, the incision sits just under the lower lash line. The procedure takes one to three hours, and patients go home the same day (source).
- The page lists drooping upper eyelids, under-eye bags, excess skin and wrinkles, and asymmetry between the eyes as the concerns the surgery treats. Candidates are described as mostly over 35; people with dry eye syndrome or conditions that impair healing may need treatment first.
- Direct brow lift. An outpatient procedure under local anesthesia, one to two hours long, with incisions just above the eyebrow to remove skin and lift the brow (source).
- Gallery. The before-and-after gallery has a Blepharoplasty category under Plastic Surgery, with cases labeled "Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Lifts)"; the cases do not name a surgeon (source).
Other procedures
The 2025 announcement lists deep laser resurfacing, neck lifts, nano fat grafting, lipoma removal and small-area liposuction, plus consultations for facelifts, breast augmentation and lifts, and tummy tucks. The wider practice offers injectables, lasers, body contouring and wellness services.
Insurance and cost
- Direct brow lift: "starts at $2,500.00," with a personalized quote at consultation (source).
- The site publishes no blepharoplasty price and makes no statement about insurance or Medicare coverage.
Recovery
- Swelling, bruising, tightness and light sensitivity follow surgery; cold compresses help in the first days.
- First week: head elevated while sleeping; no heavy lifting, strenuous exercise or bending over.
- Contact lenses: avoided for at least two weeks.
- Sutures: upper eyelid stitches out in five to seven days; lower eyelid sutures may come out later.
- Work: most patients return within seven to ten days.
- Final result: several months. Brow lift patients can return to work the next day and exercise within two weeks (source).
