- Board certification: the physicians page calls him "a board-certified plastic surgeon and reconstructive surgeon" and does not name the board (source).
- A director of the Keck Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship at USC.
- Appears on the TV program The Doctors.
- Author and co-author of peer-reviewed publications on surgical procedures, per the bio.
- Business partner of Dr. Andrew Ordon in The Plastic Surgery Institute.
Eyelid surgery work
- Blepharoplasty. The page describes clearing excess eyelid skin and fat to improve vision, reduce bags under the eyes and correct drooping lids. Incisions are placed in the crease of the upper eyelid, inside the eyelid, or in the lash line, and lines at the outer and lower corners of the eyes are tightened (blepharoplasty).
- The procedure takes 45 minutes to two hours and is most often combined with a facelift or brow lift. Candidates are typically 35 to 65; chronic dry eye, thyroid disorders or other eye conditions need special review.
- The page states blepharoplasty does not change the true shape of the eye.
- Brow lift. Also called a forehead lift; removes excess skin and fat, raises the brow and forehead, and can trim forehead muscles that cause lines. The page names Dr. Ritu Chopra and his team (source).
- His bio states his DEFINE Deep-Plane Facelift includes the face, neck and brows.
Galleries: the blepharoplasty gallery shows 14 cases (source), including combined facelift and eyelid cases, and the brow lift gallery shows 5 (source). Cases do not name the operating surgeon. The site has no page for ptosis repair, double eyelid surgery or revision eyelid surgery.
Other procedures
The site offers facelift, rhinoplasty and liquid rhinoplasty, non-invasive facial treatments, breast surgery, en bloc capsulectomy with implant removal, breast reconstruction and body procedures. The bio describes his work in deep plane facelift, breast revision and breast reconstruction (source).
Insurance and cost
The site says nothing about insurance or Medicare coverage for eyelid surgery and prints no price. The blepharoplasty page states cost depends on technique, materials and any combined procedures, and that a detailed estimate covering surgeon, anesthesia and facility fees is given at consultation (blepharoplasty).
