Eyelid surgery work
- Upper and lower eyelid surgery. The page describes blepharoplasty as removing excess skin, fat or muscle around the eyes, for drooping upper lids that affect vision or appearance, puffy under-eye bags, and fine lines.
- Procedure. Performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. Incisions are placed along natural folds or lash lines; excess tissue is removed and the remaining skin repositioned.
- Consultation. Includes an eyelid evaluation and imaging to preview possible outcomes.
- Candidates. Healthy people with sagging lids, puffiness, or vision impairment from excess skin. The page states surgery may not suit people with severe eye conditions or who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Gallery. The practice gallery has a blepharoplasty section with four cases, photographed from 7 days to 6 months after surgery (source).
The site has no separate page for brow lift, ptosis repair, double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty or revision eyelid surgery. The FAQ states Dr. Rhodes performs revision surgery in general terms (faq).
Other procedures
The site lists rhinoplasty, neck lift, facelift, otoplasty, facial reconstruction, facial fat grafting, facial resurfacing, non-surgical rhinoplasty and injections. The gallery also shows skin cancer reconstruction and skin resurfacing cases. His OKOA bio adds scar revision and Mohs reconstruction (okoa.org/rob-rhodes).
Insurance and cost
- The FAQ states cosmetic procedures are typically not covered by insurance; reconstructive or medically necessary procedures may be eligible, and the team can help with insurance questions (faq).
- No prices are published. The payment plans page offers Cherry financing (source).
Recovery
- Swelling and bruising: mild, subsiding within one to two weeks.
- Normal activities: most patients return within one to two weeks.
- Final result: improvement shows over the following weeks; results last for years while aging continues.
