Eyelid surgery work
- Eyelid lift. Upper and lower lids can be done alone or together. For the upper lid, small incisions are made at the crease and excess skin or fat is removed. For the lower lid, a small incision is made below the eye and excess skin is removed. The procedure takes 45 minutes to two hours, and each incision has a stitch removed in about a week. The page names Dr. Runnels and Dr. North and lists injectables, neck lift and brow lift as possible additions (source).
- Brow lift. Described as small incisions to lift the skin before stitching it in a higher position; several incision techniques are discussed at consultation (source).
- Gallery. The blepharoplasty album shows six before-and-after images, each labeled as surgery by Dr. Runnels (source).
The site has no page for ptosis repair, double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty or revision eyelid surgery.
Other procedures
The site lists facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, lip lift and facial implants; breast augmentation, lift, reduction and reconstruction; tummy tuck, liposuction and body lifts; and spa services such as CO2 laser resurfacing, chemical peels and injectables (runnelscenter.com).
Insurance and cost
- Brow lift: "can run anywhere from $4,000-$8,000," varying with the type of lift, the amount of work and insurance coverage (source).
