Eyelid surgery work
Dr. Kunkel's own bio states his facial work includes "eyelid rejuvenation (lower blepharoplasty and upper blepharoplasty)." The practice's procedure pages (written around co-surgeon Dr. Scott Haupt, not individually attributed to Dr. Kunkel) describe:
- Upper blepharoplasty. Removal of excess skin and fat through an eyelid incision, closed with a fine suture to create an eyelid crease, which can also improve the upper field of vision.
- Lower blepharoplasty. Skin incision below the lash line, or a transconjunctival (inside-the-eyelid) incision for fat removal or addition with no visible scar; sometimes paired with laser skin resurfacing for wrinkles and texture.
- Eyelid surgery is often combined with brow lift or a full facelift for balanced rejuvenation.
No before-and-after gallery page exists for blepharoplasty or brow lift; the site's page sitemap lists dedicated gallery pages for many other procedures (breast, body, laser) but none for eyelid or brow surgery.
Other procedures
Facelift/neck lift, rhinoplasty, body contouring, breast augmentation and reduction, facial fat grafting, otoplasty, submentoplasty, plus non-surgical injectables and laser/med-spa treatments (source).
Insurance and cost
The practice site has no statements about insurance, Medicare or eyelid-surgery pricing.
Recovery: the blepharoplasty page states recovery takes a few weeks, with most patients able to read and watch TV and resume most activities after a few days (blepharoplasty). The brow lift page states recovery takes about ten days (source).
