- Board certification as printed on the bio page: "Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Ryan Rebowe." The page text names no board.
- Research during residency produced journal articles, book chapters and presentations.
- His stated aesthetic focus includes surgical and nonsurgical rejuvenation of the face, breast surgery and body contouring; reconstructive interests include skin cancer and facial trauma reconstruction.
Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. The main goals are removal of excess skin and correction of protruding orbital fat.
- Lower blepharoplasty. Skin resection is limited or avoided; the focus is muscle tightening, septal fat correction and eyelid suspension. A canthopexy suture tacks the lower lid to the lateral bone rim; a canthoplasty takes down and recreates the lower lid support.
- A tear trough deformity can be corrected by moving septal fat into the depression. A transconjunctival incision inside the lid avoids an external scar, and skin resurfacing treats minor lower lid laxity.
- Laser blepharoplasty uses a laser to make incisions. The page also names magnification loupes.
- Both sets of lids can be done in one outpatient surgery under intravenous sedation and local anesthesia, about one hour per set of lids.
- Brow lift. The page describes open (ear to ear), hairline, direct, lateral and endoscopic approaches; the endoscopic approach uses three to five small incisions. A forehead lift takes one to two hours (source).
- Gallery. The eyelid gallery shows blepharoplasty patient cases (blepharoplasty gallery).
Other procedures
The clinic offers facelift, deep plane facelift, FaceTite, rhinoplasty, breast and body surgery, and reconstructive surgery, plus the PR MedSpa (parkrebowe.com).
Insurance and cost
- If excessive skin impairs the visual field, upper lid blepharoplasty "may be covered by insurance"; otherwise eyelid surgery is cosmetic and typically not covered (source).
- The price page lists estimates that include surgeon, anesthesia and facility fees and office visits (source):
