Eyelid surgery work
- Oculoplastics. The practice page states its doctors perform blepharoplasty (removal of excess eyelid skin), ptosis repair (eyelid lift), brow lift, entropion repair (eyelid turning in) and ectropion repair (eyelid turning out). They also diagnose and treat small eyelid growths or tumors. The page notes that improper eyelid position can cause decreased vision, discomfort, redness or tearing (source).
- The same page states that in some instances a referral to a fellowship-trained oculoplastic specialist may be appropriate, and the practice coordinates those referrals.
- Blepharoplasty (aesthetics). The aesthetics page describes upper blepharoplasty as removing excess fat and skin on the upper eyelids, which can also improve vision when sagging skin obstructs it. Lower blepharoplasty removes skin and fat under the eyelids for sagging, puffiness or wrinkles (aesthetics).
The eyelid pages are practice pages and do not name an individual surgeon. The site has no before-and-after gallery page.
