Eyelid surgery work

  • Upper blepharoplasty. Performed as an in-office procedure of about one hour under local anesthetic and oral sedation. Dr. Novis measures and marks the skin to excise; muscle excess and fat pad herniation are treated when present. The incision sits in the natural eyelid crease and is closed with fine sutures removed at one week (source).
  • Lower blepharoplasty. The page describes lower eyelid bags as fat herniating through the orbital septum, with cheek descent creating a tear trough. Incisions are placed inside the lower eyelid (transconjunctival blepharoplasty) to avoid an external scar. For excess skin or wrinkles, laser treatment or a thin pinch of skin along the lower lash line may be added. The procedure is done under IV sedation or general anesthesia and is often combined with fat grafting and laser resurfacing (source).
  • Temporal brow lift. The pricing page describes it as elevating the outer brow to open the upper eye area (pricing).
  • Gallery. One gallery page shows four combined cases: deep plane facelift and neck lift with upper blepharoplasty, temporal brow lift, periocular fat grafting or periocular laser (source). The site has no eyelid-only gallery.

The site has no page for ptosis repair, double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty or revision eyelid surgery.

Other procedures

The site also lists face lift and neck lift, lip lift, fat grafting, neck liposuction and medspa skin treatments. Fat grafting, neck liposuction and resurfacing laser are offered only as add-ons to another surgery (pricing).

  • The office does not accept any insurance, even when insurance would cover the procedure; payment is by check, cash or card (source).
  • Pricing page: upper blepharoplasty starting at $5,000; lower blepharoplasty starting at $6,500; temporal brow lift starting at $6,500. Each price "varies based on case complexity, determined pre-surgery" (pricing).
