Eyelid surgery work

The eyelid lift page lists these procedures:

  • Upper blepharoplasty. Removes excess skin and protruding fat; incisions are concealed in the natural upper lid crease. The page notes it can widen the visual field when excess skin blocks sight.
  • Lower blepharoplasty. When skin and fat are both in excess, a fine incision below the lash line removes them together.
  • Transconjunctival blepharoplasty. When only fat is present, it is removed through an incision inside the lower lid, with no external scar and no stitches. The page describes it as suited to younger patients with bags but no excess skin.
  • Lower eyelid lift with fat transfer. Removes fat from under-eye bags and redistributes it into hollow areas.
  • Ptosis surgery. Tightens the levator muscle when the upper lid droops from muscle weakness.
  • Double eyelid surgery. Creates an upper eyelid crease for patients with a monolid, by incisional or non-incisional (suture) methods.

Eyelid surgery is outpatient, takes about an hour, and uses local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. It may be combined with facelift, neck lift or chin implant. Patients with dry eyes are asked to see an ophthalmologist first.

Gallery: the eyelid lift gallery shows 15 numbered before-and-after patients. The site has no brow lift page and no brow gallery.

Other procedures

The site lists deep plane, MACS, vertical and minimal-incision facelifts, neck lift, rhinoplasty, chin implant, lip lift, ear reshaping and earlobe repair, breast surgery, body contouring including Lipo 360 and BBL, and injectables (source).

Insurance and cost

The site states no insurance or Medicare policy for eyelid surgery and publishes no procedure price. The cost section of the eyelid page names financing of "$200 + a month*, with ZERO percent interest for the first 6 months" (financing).

Recovery

From the eyelid lift page:

  • Sutures out: upper eyelid sutures are removed in the office 1 week after surgery.
  • Bruising: lasts 5 to 7 days and can be hidden with makeup or sunglasses.
  • Swelling: fades over 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Eye makeup: after sutures are removed.
  • Contact lenses: when comfortable, usually within 7 to 10 days.
