Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Incision placed in the natural upper eyelid crease, removing loose skin, fat and a small strip of muscle (source).
- Lower blepharoplasty. Fat removed or repositioned to fill hollows; excess skin removed and muscle and ligaments tightened; incisions hidden inside the lid or below the lashes (source).
- Double eyelid surgery (Asian eyelid surgery). Offered as incisional (deeper crease, longer recovery) or suture method (non-incisional, tiny incisions) (source).
- Ptosis correction. A non-incisional combined double eyelid and ptosis correction technique uses the same suture that creates the eyelid fold to correct ptosis (source).
- Medial epicanthoplasty (eyelid lengthening). Often performed with double eyelid surgery; removes a fold of skin at the inner corner of the eye (source).
- Surgery takes 30 minutes to 2 hours and is performed outpatient (source).
- Eyelid surgery before and after: upper and lower blepharoplasty cases, one combined with brow lift (source).
- Asian eyelid before and after: double eyelid surgery cases (source).
