Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Skin and fat are removed from the upper eyelid and sometimes moved to other areas; a thin stitch hides the scar in the eyelid crease. Dissolvable stitches dissolve within a week (source).
- Lower blepharoplasty. Fat pockets are removed from the inside of the lower eyelid (transconjunctival blepharoplasty), with no external scar, and fat is sometimes injected around the eye. For older patients or those with loose skin, laser resurfacing or a deep chemical peel treats the lower eyelid skin.
- Upper and lower blepharoplasty can be done in the same session.
- Brow lift. Classic or coronal incision, or an endoscopic lift through 3 to 5 small hairline incisions; 1 to 2 hours under general anesthesia or intravenous sedation (source). The page states a brow lift can restore vision impaired by drooping skin.
The eyelid gallery shows 2 before-and-after cases (source).
Other procedures
The site offers facelift, neck lift, buccal fat removal, chin augmentation, ear surgery, lip lift, fat transfer and FaceTite, plus breast and body surgery including tummy tuck, mommy makeover, breast augmentation and reduction, and liposuction (face, source).
Insurance and cost
- The eyelid page states blepharoplasty can improve vision blocked by drooping eyelid skin. The site makes no statement about insurance or Medicare coverage for eyelid surgery.
- The site publishes no prices for eyelid surgery or brow lift. A financing page is listed under patient resources.
