Eyelid surgery work
The practice's eyelid surgery page (a group page, not Craig-specific) states upper blepharoplasty places a "microscopic incision hidden directly within the natural fold of your upper eyelid crease" to trim sagging skin and remove small fat pockets. For the lower lid, it states the surgeons "frequently perform a transconjunctival blepharoplasty," placing the incision just inside the lower eyelid to redistribute or remove fat with no visible external scarring; for crepey lower-lid skin, a conservative incision is made just below the lash line. Quad-blepharoplasty (both lids at once) or eyelid surgery combined with a facelift is done under general anesthesia by a board-certified anesthesiologist (source).
Other procedures
The practice (Renaissance Plastic Surgery) also offers facelift, mini facelift, rhinoplasty, brow lift, facial fat grafting, neck lift, breast surgery, body contouring, CoolSculpting/CoolTone, laser treatments and injectables (rpsplasticsurgery.com).
Insurance and cost
The eyelid page FAQ states: "If your vision is obscured, eyelid surgery can be performed for medical reasons and may be covered by your health insurance. However, insurance will typically not cover the procedure if it's being performed purely for cosmetic reasons." No specific price figures are published.
