Eyelid surgery work
- Upper eyelid lift. Incision in the natural crease; fat removed or redistributed.
- Lower eyelid lift. Transconjunctival approach (incision inside the eyelid) for fat pockets, or an external incision below the lash line when excess skin removal is needed.
Both from the blepharoplasty page, which also notes eyelid surgery "may be covered by insurance" if drooping eyelids impact vision and health.
Brow lift. Traditional brow lift (incisions behind or in front of the hairline) or endoscopic brow lift (short incisions within the hairline, endoscope-guided) (browlift page).
The practice site has no ptosis, canthoplasty, or double-eyelid page. Galleries: eyelids and browlift; both pages list named before/after case pairs.
Other procedures
The practice also names Dr. Ximena Pinell, double board-certified, with expertise in aesthetic breast and body procedures and breast reconstruction. The site's Face gallery also covers chin augmentation, facelift, neck lift, otoplasty, and rhinoplasty (photo gallery).
Insurance and cost
"If your drooping eyelids impact your vision and health, surgery may be covered by insurance" (blepharoplasty page). No price is published for eyelid surgery or brow lift.
Recovery: eyelid surgery "takes between four and six weeks to fully recover," with most patients returning to normal activities within two weeks (same page). Brow lift patients mostly return to work within one week; sutures typically come out within 1-2 weeks; complete healing occurs within up to 2 months (browlift page).
